But when you lay down to sleep - well, sometimes the body doesn?t stop the cough to let you sleep. Good Sense Adult Tussin Syrup helps in two ways. Its active ingredients of dextromethorphan helps reduce the urge to cough, while guaifenesin provides an expectorant to loosen phlegm (mucus), thin bronchial secretions and encourage the bronchial tubes to drain. Good Sense Adult Tussin Syrup temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold.
Directions
Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24-hour period. Use only with enclosed measuring cup. Do not use any other device. This adult product is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age. Adults and Children 12 years of age and older: 2 teaspoons every 4 hours. Children younger than 12 years of age: Do not use.

Do not use if you are not taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.
